Welcome to Hickam Elementary School! We understand that enrolling a child in a new school involves many steps, especially for our military families. Our goal is to make this process as smooth and straightforward as possible, ensuring a warm welcome for all new students and their families.
Hickam Elementary is proud to have received the Purple Star Norbert Award, recognizing our commitment to supporting military families through school transitions. We are one of three elementary schools (Nimitz, Mokulele, and Hickam Elementary) that proudly serve families living on or near Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.
We offer both in-person and partial online registration options to accommodate your family's needs.
In-Person Registration
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
Initial Step: A printed copy of your signed lease agreement (or military orders with a lodging invoice for temporary lodging) is required to receive the full registration packet.
Packet Drop-off: Once your packet is complete, we recommend scheduling a drop-off time at the Main Office. Please bring the original copies of your child's birth certificate and your photo identification for verification.
