On this episode of Rise of the Falcon We will share with you how much money was raised for the Boosterthon. Look forward to watching some amazing STEM videos and learn about how you can get safely to school. Seasons greetings! Welcome to another Episode of Rise of the Falcons. I'm Ashton Yee I'm Bella Garcia, I'm Mylee Lu,I'm Ayleen Aguliar I'm Carson Coulon And I'm Cianna Barboza Our first story today is the Boosterthon. in total we raised over $20,000 the classes that raised the most money were Mrs. Nelson's Class, in K9 who raised $5,576 and in second place was Mrs. Frosina's,  who raised $4,687 thank you so much for supporting or our school Boosterthon will get prizes kits delivered to the school during the week of December 7th and the PTO to organize them and deliver them to the classroom that same week A list will be provided to teachers so you know exactly who gets what For the Slime the Principal Challenge We are still working out the logistics date, time,etcetera, so please notify these students that they won Slime the principal of top six earners In first place we have Jack Dent in Miss Nelson's class in second and third place we have a tie between Carolyn and Ryan Vogt Carolyn is in Ms. Halemano's class and Ryan is in Mrs. Frosina's class in fourth place we have Tegan Yarbrough in Miss Atkins class in fifth place we have Charles Roberts whose in Mrs. Dent's class In sixth place we have John J. Rickert  in Mrs. Seamster's Class $20,000 amazing job Falcons some of us are already going back to school we want to make sure students are staying safe getting to and from school here is how you stay safe! There many ways that you can get to school safely you can walk by yourself or with a parent or even a friend some people ride bikes or scooters and so on it's riding a bike make sure to walk in a single-file line and then place your bike in the bike rack make sure that your bikes are spaced out when you put them in the racks no matter which one you get to school it is so important that you are safe coming to school and coming back always walk your bike across a crosswalk and make sure things those who help you when you signed on a crosswalk when you get out of your car make sure to go out on the sidewalk side that you don't go straight into the road Oh No! Parents, please remember that Manzelman circle is is a no passing zone , if you do not see your child please keep circling the circle until you find your child just like the airport All of these are great ways that you can get to and from school safely. Now we have some amazing stem videos featuring  the Turkey Trap No animals were harmed in the making of these videos! Happy Thanksgiving this is my trap for my turkey the materials I use is straw ,string ,popsicle sticks paper, cardboard and tape that's the stuff that I used this is what it looks like from the back too much but still this is the food that I use for the turkey what it looks like when the turkey gets trapped from the front this is what it looks like from behind now the turkey is trap that's why you can't see a thing and the turkey is still there just got to pull it through and if I were to lift the Trap up in the Trap that I used with trip wire so the chicken will trip under the chicken will be crawling inside there to get the food it will be trapped by this Happy Thanksgiving This is my presentation bye! Hi! my name is Ethan and my name is Carson and this is Mr. Gobble! and this is our Turkey Trap and now I'm going to show you how it works and I'm going to give you a 360 degree video photo of it alright now for how it works inside of here we have our Amazon Alexa Echo Dot 3 as a weight and underneath this we have a simple pad which is a button underneath it this exact amount for a doesn't push on the button and if you add the slightest more amount of weight it'll go down now it's actually going on with the electronics here we have a Lego Technic XL motor works as a pulley to pull this up and right here for when this button is clicked we have the turkey indicator reset the Trap you click the button and pull it back and look up the Alexa and turn it back on now what is happening right here we have a simple buzzer and to shorten it we just have a lightning Motor and this will spin this sign right here that says turkey the light will illuminate it to I can see it and this light in these wires will go with lights of the inside but right now we can't get that to work and we have some red lights underneath this is all powered by simple 9 volt battery right here we have the iPhone SE 2020 we are going to put it in the slot we have a special camera and on my watch if you open the camera app from the watch to see exactly what the phone sees for right now I can wave my hand on the watch him see that when you have the turkey and it comes inside you can see it right away buzzer keep on going what temperature it will turn off automatically in real life you need to keep on going on you probably won't hear it for that short amount of time. so I'm going to reset the Trap Get Mr. Gobble's out place him to the side This is an arrow for the turkey knows where to go and then thisis is is a sign thanks Turkey Trapper 2.0 Now it's time for the Hawaiian word of the week The Hawaiian Word of the Week is Mele Kalikimaka which means Merry Christmas This Week in History This week in history on December 5th 1492 Christopher Columbus found Haiti in the American Caribbean Now it's time for some laughs with the Joke of the Week What do you call a frog that hang from the ceiling a mistletoad The joke of the week is What kind of tree fits in your hand? a palm tree!
