Future Ready!

Hickam Elementary School promotes leadership and smart integration of technology into instruction. Our goal is to integrate technology throughout the school day and across all content areas in grades K-6. We use technology as a way to enhance and deepen student learning and not just a tool or add on. Students in grades K-6 will receive formal instruction in the Makerspace Lab. Our Technology program uses standards from the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) as well as the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA). We will also incorporate standards from the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for our program.
