The HES Robotics Club is coached by Mr. Reid-Selth with Mr. Moore and Mr. Seamster.

The HES Robotics Club develops students' interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) through robotics competitions and other projects.  Robotics competitions such a Hawaii First Lego League or SeaPerch foster student's interest in STEM, develop leadership and skills in team effectiveness, and grow a community of analytical learners. HES Robotics Club promotes "gracious professionalism", where teams compete against each other yet at the same time help each other with problems. The HES Robotics Club provides a place where all students, especially those with an inclination for technology, can thrive. We hope to inspire students who never thought they could do this kind of work, and to encourage students to explore career alternatives.

HES Robotic Club begins Quarter 2 and runs through Quarter 4. There is a “Meet and Greet” on October 2018 for students who want to participate in the club. The first club meeting is on October 18th with meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30-4:30 in Room K-6. This club is offered to 4th-6th graders with a limit of 18 participants.
