name is Max and I'm from Herzig sixth grade class the book I will be reading today is Escargot it was written by Dash go Slater and illustrated by Sydney Hanson bonjour I see you were staring at me I don't mind my name is Escargot and I am such a beautiful French nail that everybody stares at me right now I am traveling to the salad at the End of This Book it is a beautiful salad with croutons and a light vinaigrette you should have come I just need a little push to help me stop well we are traveling we can talk tell me what do you think is my most beautiful part my shell my neck my tent ruelala it is so hard to choose that is because all of us cargo is many feet you can kiss me if you want let's talk about favorite animals is it was the dog the cat the Platypus the wildebeest the Lemur the hippopotamus the snail wait before you answer I must tell you something sad so sad I might cry when you stroke my show just until I feel better okay now I will tell you the very sad thing nobody ever says their favorite animal is a snail perhaps you think snails are slimy escargot you are too slimy to be my favorite animal or contraire the trails I make as I travel to the salad or are shy escargot the red to shy to be my favorite animal or contraire I am quite fierce this is the face I make to scare a lion or wild boar record that sneaks into my salad Roar that was a very Fierce face and a very loud roar do you want me to come out really then you must say come out escargot come out and I promise I will never put a carrot in your salad come out and I will kiss you here I am don't forget my kiss I kiss you back more am I your favorite perhaps you think Schnauzer slow escargot you are too slow to be my favorite animal or contraire I just don't like to hurry a French snail likes to relax before enjoying salad with a few croutons and a light vinaigrette but if I wanted to I could run faster than the cheetah you don't believe me I'll race you to the salad at the end of the book whoever gets there first will be the fantastically fast champion of the world and also your favorite animal on your mark get set go do you see how fast I am I am like the wind itself I just need a rest for one second can you blow on me or cool off okay I'm not ready for the final Sprint I win our here to a tie we are both the Champions we are both metaphysics let us celebrate by that really believed in me and ever since then I've always wanted to make a difference in a child's life just like he did to me and so that's why because teacher it's really good how long have you been a teacher this is my 16th year teaching I've taught here at Hickam for 10 years and I've taught in Oregon and Arizona as well gray Tiny Tots iPod first grade second grade fourth grade fifth grade and now I teach pre-k through 6th grade what is your media literacy what are some of your hobbies or things you like to do in your spare time in my spare time I am a mom and I drive my kids transport into the beach but I really enjoy just relaxing and playing with my kids and sometimes I don't even watch the little TV on YouTube you want to continue Secret I'm a dominant have a job but let's say
