(Bachelor’s Degree with an educational background or a 30 hour substitute class in lieu of the educational requirement)

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications, in order of priority:

Bachelor's degree and completion of a State-Approved Teacher Education (SATE) program, a full teacher-training program that includes student teaching in a Grade K-12 setting.

Bachelor's degree.

Applicants will need to take the Department's Substitute Teacher Course after interviewing and getting approval from HES Principal.
